Polina Salabay arrived in Charlottetown in 2022, fleeing the war in Ukraine with her family and leaving behind her life as a dancer and choreographer. Adjusting to life in a new country was tough, as she juggled a full-time job and missed the vibrant, busy schedule she once had.
Determined to bring back her passion, she started teaching hip-hop classes and eventually launched Polliās Dance, inspiring kids and building a vibrant dance community.
